At Commando Rugby School we aim to provide an alternative to traditional “holiday clubs”; assuring children and young people have access to a programme that is affordable, fun and varied in its delivery. As one of the only programmes across the country that is committed to spreading both the Commando Spirit and a rugby ethos to children and young people aged 4-8 and 9-15, our ethos is unique.

We have a specific programme for our camps which intertwines military skills and activities (making shelters, building traps, team-building challenges, first aid) with structured rugby training sessions (developing passing agility, ball transition, handling, kicking and more!) All aspects are delivered in one active and fun – yet challenging – half term holiday programme.

We are not just a rugby camp. No previous rugby experience is needed, and with such a varied programme, we have something for everyone! Children who participate in our holiday camps are challenged, make friends and more importantly, spend their holidays doing something active and fun!

As skilled sportsmen, coaches, teachers and military personnel we can train and engage even the most reluctant participants.

We are flexible with pre-booked attendance – you can either book individual days or a full week (however, we recommend a full week to ensure consistency and progression and to get the most out of the programme)

At Larkholme we were delighted to welcome Dave from Commando Rugby School in for many days of outdoor learning sessions. The whole school thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the outdoor sessions and developed a number of skills including team building, resilience and self belief. Dave was fantastic with the children and encouraged them to push their boundaries and to try new things. All of the experiences provided for the children were very well planned and executed and the children received the most incredible learning days. We are very much looking forward to Dave visiting our school again later in the year and would highly recommend booking Commando Rugby School.
